Once upon a time, while on the run from the long arm of commitment, confirmed single girl Cath went for a night out with the girls, and woke up in an alternate reality. An alternate reality in which she was married with 4 kids! Still recovering from her 16 year hangover since The Universe spiked her drink that night, she now asks some of the hard questions...What is it that makes seemingly rational and intelligent people pair up anyway? Is it society? Is it hormones? Or is it vodka?

If you're in, have ever been in, or have tried as hard as you can NOT to be in a relationship, you should see this show. Because THIS COULD HAPPEN TO YOU!

"Utterly enjoyable and hilarious...highly recommended." - Buzzcuts

Why in this day and age and world of Paris Hiltons are women who enjoy sex still called sluts and the men who get as much as they can, studs? What is it that makes us capable of being hurt over and over again in the pursuit of fun and still go back for more in the hope that this time it will be okay?

This show will guide the less experienced in how to avoid some of the mistakes that can be made and make those that have been there realise that they aren't alone, and in fact more embarassing mistakes have been made by others.

Wild stories and fanciful ideas all make up an amusing, thought provoking evening of entertainment that is guaranteed to make you feel better about yourself and your choices that you make in the privacy of your bedroom, kitchen, car, nightclub toilet or air traffic control tower.

Geraldine saw the movie ‘He's Just Not that into You’ and, like many other people in the world, it made her soul cry. Not only because it was a horrible film but because she realised she had never had her heart broken and for a moment that movie made her care. She didn't want a Prince Charming, just a Prince Knobhead so she could understand what all the fuss was about. The moment passed, then she went and wrote some dick jokes.

"Hickey has the audience in stitches for most of the show and her Australian flavour is definitely appealing." - artsHub

After a sold out season at the 2010 Melbourne Comedy Festival, Nick Cody brings “Lust Actually” to The Quarterly Retort for one final show. Nick was a hopeless romantic for the first 22 years of his life. Then, after another failed long-term relationship, he decided to act how he should have all along…like a complete dick.

Hear how he once faked proposed, why relationships should end after three dates, how he spent Christmas Eve in an STI Clinic and why Gen-Y are the most chivalrous generation of all. Armed with an hour of hilarious and brutally honest stand-up…It would be a sin to miss him.

“What eventuated was an hour of wonderful storytelling…Nick was a brilliant storyteller and kept us glued to his every word.” - Groggy Squirrel
